Chieri's father is the single father who takes care of... well, Chieri! He takes her ice skating every weekend and is very supportive. He was once the All-Japan Skating Champion and also an Olympic athlete.

Though Chieri's father seems very kind and loving, he plays little dynamic part in the story.His name and title does give Chieri a reputation and honorable background, but he as a character is flat.

Ironically, we never see Chieri's father help her with her skating when she's really training for her tournaments. He always just gives encouraging words but never advice though he definitely would be able.
