Coach Mori isn't in the "Cherry Project," but helps train Chieri by Tsuzuki's request.  She was Tsuzuki's former teacher who taught him the basics.  Mori is a very famous skating instructor and she only accepts special students or those with talent.  In one point of the story, a girl comments on how Mori wouldn't teach her anything.  This was obviously because she wasn't a good, true-to-the-art skater.

Mori begins training Chieri and quickly realizes she is a quick learner.  She requests that Chieri take the 6 badge tests all at once to qualify for the next tournament...
